“Napa
Racing - Kingman Street Drags V”
Event Sponsorship
“Kingman Street Drags” have
become “Kingman’s
Premier Event”. The Kingman Chamber
of Commerce recognizes the “Kingman Street
Drags” as the third largest event in Kingman.
The first event the “Route 66 Fun Run” and
second event being the “Laughlin River Run” technically
are not “Kingman’s” event since
they only travel through Kingman on their way to
conclusion in another city.
As a Sponsor of the largest exclusively
Kingman event you will be instrumental in making “Kingman Street
Drags V” a success while entertaining your guest’s
with the type of adrenaline rush available no where
else. You and your guest’s will be privileged
to make History as you are part of the only Legal Drag
Race down Route 66 in the world.
Hot Rod magazine’s coverage of the “Kingman
Street Drags IV” in the February 2008 issue
has given the event international exposure. We have
received contacts from Canada, Mexico, and even Australia
for potential spectators or participants of this coming
year’s event. The numbers of people all over
the United States emailing or calling regarding this
year’s event is astounding.
With numerous videos of the “Kingman Street
Drags IV” event on “You Tube”, the
one video that is most impressive is the one hosted
by Drag Racing on Line. DRO is the internets largest
on line Drag Racing magazine and on the front page
of their video page is a clip of the “King of
the Streets” video showing two of the pro street
cars, J.D. St Cyr with the blown 55 Chevy truck and
Ethan Holley with his blown 67 Chevelle, squaring off
at last years event in a “Pinks style race. Very
impressive when you realize we are talking about an
event that happened over seven months ago.
This year’s event promises
to be nothing short of spectacular. We have added
a second day to the event which only furthers the
events growth. It also doubles the exposure that
the sponsors would have had in the past. The schedule
of 10:00am to 10:00pm on Saturday will now include
an additional four hours on Sunday. Tentatively from
11:00am to 3:00pm.This will allow us to generate
spectator numbers far exceeding anything in the past,
and expand our entertainment. Also, during the morning
hours of the 21st we will be featuring the talent
from the 1st Annual Miss Route 66 Wings and Wheels.
This year’s event will
undoubtedly take our exposure to an even larger audience.
The event will, for the third year, be streamed live
on the internet. We also expect Hot Rod magazine
along with Drag Racer magazine to attend, in addition
to the Tri State Motor News, who already publish
an issue for exclusive coverage of the event, the
RAZOOR and the FOX Sports News Network will be filming
for a show featuring Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags
V.
This year’s event is poised
to go to a new level. With expectations of 15,000
spectators and over 200 participants, this event
rivals professional Drag Races at professional Drag
strips.
Your participation as an event
sponsor is of utmost importance to us. Without companies
just like yours we could not make events like this
happen nor could we have reached the levels of success
that we have. We look forward to partnering with
you to make this years “Kingman Street Drags V”,
the largest and most successful event that Kingman
has ever experienced.

VANDA
RACING NEWS RELEASE - AUGUST 1, 2007

Vanda Racing
is pleased to announce that Miss Arizona 2007, Nicole
Turner, has agreed to be the official spokesperson
for the Vanda Racing ZERO, NADA, NONE under 21 alcohol
awareness high school program. Miss Turner's platform
of, To Drive With Care, and the Vanda Racing ZNN21
program is a perfect partnership as we work towards
educating our teenagers in the hazards of alcohol
consumption and traffic safety. We look forward to
Miss Turner traveling with us to some of our school
appearances and also at Tucson Raceway Park.
From Miss
Turner's web site:
"T.D.W.C.
is not just a platform. It is a life mission of mine
and goal to see all teens and adults driving responsibly.
Six years ago my life changed when one of my dearest
friends died senselessly in an automobile accident.
My friend, Aaron Mattison was young, handsome, well-liked,
and the perfect “all around guy!” Nothing
could ever happen to Aaron. He believed he was invincible
as many of us do. There was not one sole contributor
to the loss of Aaron. It was the overall spectrum
of not driving with care. So many other factors contributed
to the fatal accident, factors that we see every
day, not just with teens, but with all drivers, lack
of seatbelt, loss of attention to the road, alcohol
and speeding all played a part in this tragedy. A
friend lost was a friend to many."
